Guangzhou Metro Line 3

Project Introduction:
Line 3 of Guangzhou Metro, the line is in the north-south "Y" shape, running from the north to the south through the central axis of the new city of Guangzhou and the development axis of Panyu District. The line connects north to the Airport Express Line and extends south to Guangzhou New Town. Line 3 has a total length of 64.41 kilometers, with a total of 29 stations, 2 depots, 2 new main substations, and 1 control command center. The total investment is RMB 15.905 billion. Guangzhou Metro Line 3 is the first urban rail transit line in China with a speed of 120km/h. Compared with conventional subway lines, it has many different technical features. Line 3 has realized a number of technological innovations and breakthroughs from design to construction, and solved a series of technical difficulties in vehicles, tunnel boundaries, long-range ventilation and evacuation, signal, power supply, and aerodynamics. This line is the first subway route in China to use 120km/h trains, and it is also the longest in the length of Guangzhou subway operation route.
